EvilQuest fans, we know you’ve been patiently waiting quite a while for news of EvilQuest 2 from the Chaosoft Games team. Well, we’re finally ready to unveil the progress we’ve made on the game.
We still have much to complete, and there are a lot of other exciting parts of the game that we can’t reveal quite yet. But with where we are right now, we can assure you that we are developing a sequel to EvilQuest that far surpasses the original in every way. And thanks to the response that EvilQuest has had on Steam, we can’t wait for the day when we’re able to bring this game to the public.
We know that many of you want to know when the game will be released and we wish we could say, but it’s more important to get the game as close to our vision as possible and not sacrifice quality for the sake of an arbitrary deadline.
Enjoy the trailer and stay tuned for more EvilQuest and EvilQuest 2 updates!
Keep up the great work, guys. You guys know how to make games containing what matters most: fun. Thanks, Chaosoft Games!
i do hope tarkan and that mysterious warrior from the icy village make an appearance..
tarkan seems far too crafty a type to be swallowed up in the world’s destruction just because he recieved a crippling injury and lost his army..
also, i cant help but mourn poor elric.. is he truly dead?
i mean, he had the tenacity to crawl bleeding through the sewer with a shiv wound through his gut, you’d think he at least could take a beating from this as well.. especially with all his hero training and better armor this time around.. nobody else could have mastered the thunder spear..
perhaps it’s just wishful thinking to be able to fight these guys again.. but i’d appreciate them all the more if they were there..
Great questions, all of which we hope will be answered in EvilQuest 2!
We need more games that let you be a “Villain, villain”. This game filled a void where I played as bad people or people choosing to do bad. This guy is a TRUE VILLAIN. Can’t think of any other games that do it quite like ’em. Thanks for creating this!
Here’s some ideas. Would you be willing to include interesting side quests for vast rewards?(like slaughtering a village?) What about options to kill random NPC’s walking around? Then they spawn back
You could also throw in a skirmish mode. It could be like this:
-evil allegiance of Galvis VS good of other characters
-conquer lands or protect them
-recruit and create armies
-allow NPC’s to follow and help simultaneously
-multiplayer if possible
-choose evil or good
I don’t know how, but try to craft it into one idea. I think of it like a mode where characters invade villages, pillage, slay, and then try to destroy a castle. The good oppose the evil and try to stop the crimes towards their land.
You could also include any of these ideas into the story.
